Most people guess their protein number. Here's the actual math, and what it looks like on a plate.
The numbers
If you're not training at all, 0.8g of protein per kg of bodyweight covers you. That's the baseline — not the target for anyone who trains.
- Training 3–5 times a week (general fitness): 1.6–2.2g per kg
- Trying to lose weight without losing muscle: 1.2–1.6g per kg
- Actively building muscle: 1.6–2.0g per kg
Take a 70kg person training a few times a week. That's 112–154g of protein a day — not from one shake, from the whole day's food.
Spread across three meals, that's roughly 35–50g per meal. That's the number to aim for, not "eat more chicken and hope."
Why most people fall short
It's not that protein is hard to find. It's that hitting 35–50g at lunch, on a weekday, from wherever you're grabbing food, is genuinely inconvenient. A plate of rice and two pieces of fried chicken looks like a meal but doesn't come close. You'd need to actually measure it to know — and nobody's doing that between meetings.
This is the gap HiPro is built for. One HiPro box is one whole 180g chicken breast, pre-cut and fully cooked — no guessing the portion, no mystery protein count. Italian Herbs, Cajun, Pedas or Rebus, each carrying 37–40g of protein. Microwave it for 3 minutes and that's most of a training day's protein target handled in one meal, RM15.
What that looks like across a week
If you're aiming for 112–154g a day and you eat two HiPro boxes on your busiest training days, that's 74–80g already locked in before you've thought about it — the rest comes easily from breakfast and dinner. Stock a 5-pack (RM74) or 10-pack (RM140.60) in the freezer and the whole week stops depending on willpower at lunchtime.
"I've been quite particular about keeping my protein intake on track. I've already purchased for the second time, and I'll definitely repeat again! I really like the products, and the price is also quite affordable... SEDAP!" — Malisa, repeat customer
